ABOUT SHIELD

The SHIELD database is a resource for dissemination and comparison of inner-ear gene expression datasets, initially developed by laboratories associated with Harvard Medical School and now including Creighton University School of Medicine, Oregon Health & Science University and Rutgers University. Expression data are available for online viewing for individual genes for all datasets (Gene Search) and may be downloaded for all genes for individual published datasets (Datasets). Some data are not yet published, but are made available as a service to the auditory and vestibular research community. Please contact us if you would like to have your related research datasets integrated into the SHIELD. Thank you!
